One of the biggest things that my site will need for a continuous management goal will be fire suppression and overgrowth management. The cause for the extensive damage on the property was due to not correctly managing the overgrowth on site. It will be essential to maintain the reduction of invasive species bush and thicket growth as that will help the surrounding ecosystem thrive even better. It will also be crucial to have a controlled burn on the property every two years as that is what is suggested by Cal Fire (the fire department right down the street from the site). Money will be saved as the firefighter camp down the road is a volunteer conservation camp.
